Visual blog - popular in Japan →
Blog posts are exclusively by drawing or handwriting. Same is for comments. Even the tags are visual. The Japanse community consist of 300k users, 90% of which are female (and I guess many of whom will be teens or in their 20s). More than 70% have a Wacom tablet.
Tokyo - Wacom developers event
I wanted to understand how SW developers ‘tick’ in Japan. Therefore I organised an informal event through the local web2.0 community. Six developers showed up for beer and talks. It was great to get first-hand insights such as these:
